I'm a progressive political blogger from the small town of Westville, Illinois. Additionally, I have a huge imagination.
I'm the author of The Progressive Midwesterner, which is my progressive political blog. I mostly write about Illinois, Wisconsin, and U.S. federal politics on there, although I'll write about other subjects from time to time. Additionally, I'm an occasional contributor to the progressive website DailyKos (under the handle DownstateDemocrat), and I also occasionally write articles for Medium (under the handle AaronCamp)
In addition to my political blogging, I've also created a site about a fictional country that exists solely in my imagination, the Royal Republic of Usonia.
